In this episode, we chat with four-time (1x U23, 3x Elite) Canadian National Cyclocross Champion, Michael van den Ham, about what he’s been up to over the past year including putting in big miles, riding gravel adventures with the Easton Overland team, his thoughts on growing cyclocross in BC, race tactics, and what he’s got on the calendar for the rest of 2020. His furry friend, Odin, makes a few guest remarks too!
Michael is an accomplished cyclist and currently rides on the Easton-Giant pb Transitions Lifecare race team and Easton Overland gravel race team. He has won multiple National CX Championships, once as a U23 and 3 consecutive times as an Elite in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He has been a BC Provincial Champion, podiumed at the Pan Am CX Championships in 2018 and 2019, and has represented Canada in seven World Championships.
