Cycling BC is pleased to announce that we will be holding a 50/50 online raffle draw to raise funds for athlete development programs and local cycling clubs. The raffle draw is open to all residents of British Columbia who are 19 years of age or older. The funds raised will help Cycling BC to continue to provide high-quality coaching, training, and development opportunities to athletes across all cycling disciplines, as well as to support the growth and development of local cycling clubs and events.
Cycling BC will hold two draws—the first draw will take place on May 9, 2023, and the winner will receive 50% of the total funds raised through ticket sales, with the other 50% going towards supporting Cycling BC athlete development programs and Escape Velocity Cycling Club.
A second draw will take place on July 18, 2023, and again, the winner will receive 50% of the total funds raised through ticket sales, with the other 50% going to Cycling BC athlete development programs and the Greater Victoria Velodrome Association.
“Through this 50/50 raffle draw, we are excited to be able to raise funds to support athlete development programs and local cycling clubs across British Columbia,” said Erin Waugh, CEO of Cycling BC. “The funds raised will help us to continue to provide world-class coaching, training, and development opportunities to our athletes, and to support the growth and development of the sport of cycling at the grassroots level.”
Tickets for the 50/50 raffle draw are now available for purchase online at Cycling BC’s Rafflebox website at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/cyclingbc. Tickets are $20 for four tickets, $50 for 20 tickets, or $100 for 100 tickets.
