Cycling BC is seeking members to help advise the organization on its membership structure and pricing for the upcoming year. As a not-for-profit Provincial Sport Organization, Cycling BC is committed to ensuring that our membership structure and pricing remain fair, sustainable, and balanced with the needs of our community.
As a member of the Cycling BC Membership Structure & Pricing Advisory Group, you will…
- Help shape the future of the organization—your ideas will contribute to shaping our membership structure and pricing for the upcoming year.
- Make a positive impact on your community—by volunteering your expertise, you’ll be making a valuable contribution to the organisation’s health on behalf of your fellow members.
- Make valuable connections by collaborating with fellow members that share common interests and who are passionate about making a difference.
Whether you’re a casual rider, a competitive cyclist, or somewhere in between, we’d love to hear from you. We value diversity and encourage members of all backgrounds to volunteer.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for up to seven dedicated members who can volunteer their time and expertise to help with the following responsibilities.
- Review the current membership structure and fees
- Research or advise on best practices for membership fee structures across similar industries or organizations
- Consider the organization’s financial sustainability while suggesting changes and/or providing feedback
- Attend meetings—the committee will meet online two times during September 2023 (dates TBD).
