Local Ride’s Pumpkin Cross – When: Sunday October 27
Local Ride will be bringing the exciting cycling discipline of Cyclocross to the Maple Ridge / Pitt Meadows area. They will be using the Ridge Meadows BMX track facilities and surrounding area of Cottonwood Park. The course will be a sub 1000 meter circuit containing a variety of terrain and obstacles. This may include barriers, run-ups, pump track, BMX track etc.
These clinics and races will prepare the rider to join the racing and festivities of Pumpkin Cross on Oct. 27th. This Halloween Themed Cyclocross race is held in Maple Ridge and has a category and fun for all. Check out Local Ride CX Clinics
When: Clinics start at 5:00 p.m. with Races kicking off at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Ridge Meadows BMX Track
How Much: $5 Ridge Meadows club members, $10 Everyone Else (must have a Cycling BC license)
Schedule:
5:00 to 6:00 – Beginner Clinic with Jean Ann Berkenpas
6:00 to 6:10 – Half Crossers
6:10 to 6:30 – All youth race
6:40 to 7:00 – Beginner / Intermediate
7:00 to 7:30 – Intermediate/Elite
