Kids and youth raced laps like the pros at BC Superweek’s Tour de Delta in Delta and Ladner, and at the UBC Grand Prix.
The UBC Kids Crit had nearly 200 kids participating. Smiles were wide as the kids raced around the technically challenging track. The Youth Race had about 15 competitors and they flew around the course at breakneck speeds.
The Delta Kids Crit had about 50 kids participating and although the weather was a bit wet, the enthusiasm of the children brightened everyone’s mood.
The Ladner Kids Crit also had about 50 kids participating, but the weather was glorious and the crowd cheered on the kids as they raced around the closed course. The Ladner Youth Race had approximately 20 exceptional participants and they showcased their tactics and racing skills.
