On October 6, 2016, Cycling BC will gather community leaders to celebrate champions in our community, at our 2016 Fundraising Gala and Silent Auction. The recent success of our cycling Olympians and Paralympians obviously comes to mind, as does the great work being accomplished day-to-day by the organizations, teams, clubs, coaches and officials associated with the sport of cycling.

Proceeds will support Cycling BC Programs. This support ensures the continued growth of cycling in British Columbia, including the following areas:
- In the past few years, we have seen participation in our iRide program double. We’ll reach close to 10,000 children this year.
- Our young athletes are attending camps and projects across the country while hitting a medal rate that comes close to leading the nation. They’ll soon become the next generation to make us proud with their Olympic medals.
- The depth of our coach training programs prove that we are among the best in Canada.
- A full host of races and events, appealing to a wide variety of ages and abilities, occur almost every week in BC.
