Burnaby, BC, June 23, 2021 – Cycling BC held its 2021 Annual General Meeting online on Tuesday, June 22nd and announced three newly elected members to its board of directors. Between June 1st to June 20th, Cycling BC members voted to elect three new directors from a group of six candidates. The newly elected Cycling BC board directors are:
- Angela Chang
- Deb Intas
- Jeffrey Werner
The new board members will hold office starting September 15, 2021, for a term of three years.
Cycling BC would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the nominees who put their names forward for the board this year. We have been extraordinarily fortunate to have a selection of passionate members with diverse skills and experience who are willing to give their time to the organization year after year.
Cycling BC would also like to acknowledge and thank outgoing board members, Jon Watkin, Michael Wegner, and Willa Kriebel for their commitment and contribution to the board during their terms. Past Board Chair, Willa Kriebel, is stepping down from the board after completing two consecutive terms in office, including two years as board chair. We wish them all the best.
