Cycling BC to Transition to Fully Remote Office

Editorial Note: This article was updated on May 10, 2024, to correct the new mailing address to PO Box 44001 (not 4401).

We have some exciting news to share regarding Cycling BC’s future. After careful consideration and a thorough evaluation, the Cycling BC office will be transitioning to a fully remote office setup starting on April 29, 2024. This decision comes as a result of several factors.

First and foremost, moving to a fully remote office aligns with our commitment to efficient resource management and cost-effectiveness. With the lease on the current office space nearing its end and the increasing cost of rent in the market, we are taking proactive measures to streamline our expenses. By transitioning to a fully remote and connected office, we can significantly reduce overhead expenses associated with maintaining a physical office space. This shift will allow us to reallocate resources towards further enhancing programs and services, ultimately benefiting our members and stakeholders.

Please rest assured that our small but dedicated operational team remains committed to providing the same level of support and service to our members throughout this transition.

We will gradually move out of our current office space until our lease expires at the end of April 2024.

Effective April 29, 2024, Cycling BC’s new mailing address is:

CYCLING BC
PO Box 44001 RPO Kensington SQ
Burnaby, BC  V5B 4Y2

While we may not have a physical office space, our communication channels remain open, and we encourage everyone to reach out with any questions or concerns they may have.

We are excited about this new chapter for our organization and the opportunities it presents for growth and innovation.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification.
