Important Update: Cycling BC Transitioning Away From Plastic Membership Card Printing

After the recent announcement of Cycling BC transitioning to a fully remote office, a continuation of efforts to reduce costs, and the growing acceptance of digital IDs, Cycling BC will be discontinuing the option to order printed plastic membership licences as of April 30, 2024.

In today’s digital age, most events and situations that require proof of a licence readily accept a digital or paper copy. This shift will streamline operational processes, save the organization time and resources, minimize our environmental footprint, and facilitate greater convenience for members.

Members who still wish to obtain a printed copy of their licence on a plastic card have until April 30, 2024, to place an order from their CCN account. Please note there may be a delay in processing orders as we transition to a remote office setup.

Alternatively, you also have the flexibility to print your membership licence from your printer at home, the office, or wherever you can access a printer. Simply download the digital version and you print it on paper or cardstock.

If you have any questions regarding this change, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at membership@cyclingbc.net.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
