Conor Martin is a first-year junior road cyclist riding for the TaG Cycling race team and lives in Kelowna, BC. He has been racing bikes since the age of six, starting with BMX and then eventually getting into road racing through the Axel Merckx Youth Development camps in Kelowna.
Conor is currently in Innsbruck, Austria with the Canadian National Team for the upcoming 2018 World Junior Road Championships which are happening on September 25th (Individual Time Trial) and September 27th (Road Race).

Conor raced several road races in France this past spring as a guest rider for the Under 19 race team Culture Velo. Conor was very excited to take the polka dot jersey at one of those races. It was his first time racing road in Europe and it was a great learning experience.
Conor also achieved the spot of top Canadian in the overall standings at the 50th edition of the Tour de l’Abitibi, finishing tenth, and also he took the Polka Dot Jersey as the top climber in the race. Conor finished third in the Best Young Rider category.
