Black Sage Women’s Road Ride

On Sunday June 25th, 2017 X Elle Women’s Cycling hosted its first annual Black Sage Women’s Road Ride. This women-only event featuring 25km and 50km options takes cyclists through the South Okanagan’s stunning wine region. Open to beginners through advanced riders, the ride is designed to promote women’s participation in cycling by drawing women from all over the BC coast, interior and beyond to ride together and build lasting friendships.

X Elle is Kelowna’s largest not-for-profit women’s cycling club. The club has ride leaders on hand to welcome cyclists and guide pace groups.

The ride features an aid stations along the route as well as mobile support with thanks to sponsors Balance Point Racing, Orthoquest Pedorthics, Kelowna Cycle, and SunRype.

The Black Sage Road Ride culminates at the beautiful Black Hills Estate Winery where participants have the opportunity to relax and enjoy post-ride food and refreshments.
