*Use Zone 8 drop-down menu – select iRide Sprockids*
A fun, safe and memorable community after-school program available to local participants aged 13-16 with an iRide skill level of 4, or 5. The program will use the iRide skills curriculum and the Sprockids skills curriculum to help your child build their confidence, foster friendships with their peers and develop intermediate and advanced bicycle skills.
This program builds on the legacy of Doug Detwiller’s Sprockids curriculum to connect kids in your community with certified NCCP coaches trained to work with young people through Cycling BC’s iRide program. All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Marsh Canada.
Wednesday programs are for young teens who are interested in further developing their skills on the trails. Introducing endurance challenges with a focus on obstacles, front and back wheel lifts and single track riding, this course will challenge teens to be more successful riders.
If your child enjoys their iRide Sprockids experience, perhaps we’ll see you at the next iRide Games!
