Starting and finishing in downtown Prince George at Canada Games Plaza, the ride offers full support with course marshals, aid stations, and support vehicles for a safe and enjoyable experience.

About Kris

Born and raised in Prince George, Kris was deeply embedded in our community, both through his passion for cycling and his financial management business. Tragically, Kris’s untimely passing on January 18, 2023, was sudden and unexpected, a result of advanced coronary artery disease. Despite being an elite athlete, he faced an invisible enemy with no warning signs. The mission is to ensure that Kris’s legacy shines on, raising awareness about heart disease and reminding everyone that it can affect anyone, regardless of their fitness level.

This event has a dual purpose: fostering community ties via cycling and amplifying the significance of heart health care in Northern BC.
