Practice Planning

This is a PILOT delivery. As a result, this module is FREE OF CHARGE.

The 4-hour module is part of the Community coach pathway and is ideal for parents, volunteers, teachers, and instructors who work with bike riders under the age of 11.

This module includes 2x 2-hour evening calls plus pre-requisites. The module is facilitated using Telus Business Connect (Zoom) and participants must be ready to participate fully.

Please note, effective April 2021, all Cycling BC community coaches will be required to have completed the Community pathway up to the 5th module, including the material covered in this module. Learn more about the NCCP here.

Schedule:

Registration closes at least 72 hours before the event start.

  • Foundations
  • Emergency Action Plan
  • Making Ethical Decisions + Quiz

If you are working with young riders 11 and over, or club participants of any age, please skip this course and instead pursue the Competition-Introduction pathway as the material is more appropriate for your target participants.
