Sidney Velo Time Trial: Shawnigan Lake

Open to all age categories and all classes of paracycling.

Sign-on: 2 PM at 2371 Shawnigan Lake Road opposite Dwight School Canada. Parking in the lake-side lots; washroom in the school. Also parking at the finish on Renfrew Frontage Road.

Start: 3 PM,  opposite 2301 Shawnigan Lake Road, 400 m south of  Dwight School Canada (at the top of the hill).

Distance: 16 km (hilly)

Course: Start at 2301 Shawnigan Lake Road,  south on Shawnigan Lake Road, right on West Shawnigan Lake Road, right on Renfrew Road, finishing on Renfrew Road 100 m past the west entrance to Renfrew frontage Road.

Race fee: $20 for BCMCA members, $25 for non-BCMCA riders, free for riders under 19.

All riders must have a Provincial or UCI Race Licence, or sign a Non-Member Day of Insurance Release Agreement ($5 under 17, $10 Canadian 17+, $12 Foreign).

BCMCA-hosted BBQ and awards will be held at Gay Wise’s, 1757 Shawnigan-Mill Bay Road (left-hand gate, Wise Financial Services sign) in Shawnigan Lake village next to Oma’s Bakery/Shawnigan House Coffee. Parking in front of and behind the building across the road.
