BC Cup downhill racing is headed back to Vancouver Island once more over the weekend of August 25 – 27, 2023, for the annual Stevie Smith Memorial DH Race presented by Forbidden Bike Company, here in the Mount Washington Bike Park. Since 2017, this race has been held in memory of the late-Canadian racing icon, Stevie Smith, who grew up riding here on Vancouver Island before showcasing his talents at World Cup venues around the globe and inspiring generations of athletes to come. The annual race weekend draws athletes and spectators from around British Columbia and beyond to experience the legendary Monster Mile trail here in the Bike Park with epic ocean views along the gnarly single-track.
