United Velo Masters Race Series – Hougen Park

Event Information
The United Velo Masters Race Series is a partnership between the BC Masters Cycling Association and United Velo Cycling Club. Starting in April 2019, we will be hosting races in the beautiful Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada.
Hougen Park, Abbotsford – Aug. 3rd
Parking at Hougen Park, 2887 Cole Rd, Abbotsford
Sign-on at 8am
Start time: Time Trial 9am – $20 pre-reg and day-of
Road Race 10am – $30 pre-reg
$40 day-of (Cash)
Pre-registration ends Aug. 1 11:59 pm
*BC Cup eligible categories
*Note there is duplication of Master Cat 3 (found in both A group and B group) and Elite Cat 3 women (B group and C group). Racers in these categories can choose if they want a harder race or not, but BC cup results will only be taken from 1 group (marked by *)
A Group
Elite Cat 1/2 Men*, Master Cat 1/2/3 Men*
8 Laps – 112km
B Group
Elite Cat 3 Men*, Master Cat 3 Men, Cat 1/2/3 Women* (BC Cup category for Cat 1/2 women), Junior Men*
6 Laps – 84kms
C Group
Elite Cat 4 Men / Master Cat 4 Men, Elite Cat 3/4 Women* (BC Cup category for Cat 3 women), Master Women, Junior Women*
5 laps – 70kms
Each event will have race groups based on ability so that everyone can be competitive and have fun. Whether you are an expert or just wanting to try your first road race, you are welcome here!
