Mission Wednesday Night Races

We are excited to announce our United Velo partnership with Phoenix Velo in Mission, BC.

For the 2019 season all United Velo members can race in the Phoenix Velo events for FREE!

The Wednesday Night races are tons of fun and they will improve your riding ability and fitness.

The great part of this racing is it is on a closed course, used for auto racing.  So there isn’t any traffic to deal with. Plus the trace is very wide and there is lots of room for groups to pass each other.  There course is about 2km long with wide sweeping turns and lots of straights.

Most Wednesday Nights there are 4 different groups to choose from.  All groups begin racing this time of year at 6:30pm, but arrive earlier if you are there for the first time. You need to sign in and get a timing chip working.

As the season gets going there will be 8-15 races in each group. The beginner group races for about 35 minutes while the advance group goes for almost an 1 hour.

As you win races and get better you are promoted to the faster groups so there is always a challenge.
