COG Events Society is pleased to announce the dates for the 2023 edition of the Future Champions Camp. The event will follow the successful 2022 camp format, combining races and coaching in an ideal ‘summer camp’ setting. Next year marks the 12th year for COG Events Society running youth development cycling events.
Canadian National coach, Richard Wooles, will again head up the coaching staff, with support from certified national calibre coaches & current and retired elite racers. The camp begins with a racing session on the technical Vancouver Island Motor Circuit. In addition, a criterium and circuit road race will provide coaches with an additional opportunities to coach in real racing situations.
The camp is limited to 60 motivated riders between the ages of 14 and 22. Riders will gain valuable knowledge as they prepare for the National Championships, and in some cases – national team selection.

Friday May 26th | Training – Coaching |
Saturday May 27th | Cherry Point Youth Road Races (Open to Non-Camp Youth) |
