Sad News: Canada Mourns Track Cycling Legend

Cycling BC is saddened to hear news of the passing of former track cycling Olympian and world champion, Gordon Singleton of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Singleton passed at the age of 67 after a fight with prostate cancer. He left his mark on Canadian cycling by breaking numerous records and becoming the first Canadian to win a gold medal at the Track Cycling World Championships in 1982.

Cycling BC extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Gordon Singleton during this difficult time.
