Team BC in Baie St. Paul for Canada Cup

Inspired by the pre-race news of Ryder’s amazing win in Italy, U-23 rider Evan Guthrie hit the start hard and layed everything on the line, racing for the win. He lead the first lap in the Pro Men’s race, and spent most of the race in the top 4 riders of what was a very close race with the top ten separated by only a minute going into the last lap. His early efforts caught up to him and he faded to 9th at the finish.

The junior men’s race also started very aggressively. Louis Dillon had a good start and finished lap 1 in the top 10 on his way to a 12th place finish. Quinn Moberg had a little trouble at the start, getting knocked off his bike a couple times. He was in the high teens early in the race, but made his way back up through the field for a strong 7th place finish.

Next up will be Canada Cup #3 in Hardwood Hills next weekend.
