The weather had been on our side for most of the weekend, however, Sunday came with some rain. The day kicked off with the girls Road Race in the morning. Given the changing temperatures and the unfavorable weather the girls nerves were a little higher than usual.
They worked hard to stay with the group but the pace was fast right from the get go. Most of the girls managed to hold on and finished in the middle of the pack.
The boys Road Race kicked off in the afternoon, and with it came heavier rain. The slick conditions and changing temperature had the boys nerves a little higher than usual as well. The first couple of laps through Evan, Tristan, and Jordan were positioned in the front and working together, making attacks and trying to make a break.
The last lap through Joel made a move to the front of the pack, joining Tristan and Jordan for the final haul. Joel came across the line first, followed by Jordan and Tristan. Cycling BC swept the podium, Joel took the CAT 3 Men GC with Jordan in 2nd. Congrats team!
