BC’s own Svein Tuft placed second with ORICA-GreenEDGE in the team time trail at the UCI Road Cycling World Championships, just 31 seconds behind BMC Racing.
Following this silver-medal performance, Tuft finished 28th in the men’s individual time trial. Tuft completed the 41.7km course in 59 minutes 43.70 seconds at an average speed of 47.314, three minutes 18.18 seconds behind gold medalist Bradley Wiggins who won in 56 minutes 25.52 seconds.
