2019 HAYMAN CLASSIC YOUTH STAGE RACE – Updates
The 2019 Hayman Classic, May 24-26, may prove to be the best edition yet! Each of last year’s stages is back with small refinements to each. Furthermore, the new ‘ability based’ categories ensure riders can opt for fields that complement their experience, maturity, and fitness. And don’t worry if you wish to change categories after registration, or even after stage 1 – we’ll make that easy!
Registration fees do jump after May 8th, and again on May 19th, so sign up soon.
CARAVAN DRIVER TRAINING at the HAYMAN CLASSIC
If you are interested in driving a support vehicle during the Hayman Classic, you are required to take the Cycling Canada online course. The Hayman Classic will cover course fees. To receive a course link, please email Wes Ochitwa with your full name, phone number and best email address. Wes will send you a link and login details.
Note that taking this course does not guarantee you will drive during any of the stages. You must complete the course no less than 72 hrs before the race to show up on the qualified driver list. Drivers must also hold a valid UCI Technical license.
