Burnaby, BC, September 16, 2020 – Cycling BC is pleased to announce the results of its 2020 Board of Directors Election from its Annual General Meeting of members held online on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in Burnaby, BC. This year, Cycling BC members voted to elect three new directors from a slate of 8 candidates. Voting was held online from August 24, 2020, until noon on the day of the AGM, Tuesday, September 15, 2020.

Cycling BC would like to extend a sincere thanks to all of the candidates who put their names forward for the board of directors. While many non-profits find the process of finding board members challenging, Cycling BC has had no shortage of enthusiastic members willing to step up to volunteer their time and lend leadership to the organization.
A very special thank you also goes out to outgoing Cycling BC board members, Dave Diebolt and Heather Kay, for their commitment and contribution to the board during their term.
Continuing their terms on the Cycling BC Board of Directors are Willa Kriebel, Jon Watkin, Angie Buonassisi, Parker Bloom, Taylor Little, and Michael Wegner.
The Board of Directors provides Cycling BC with governance to steer the organization’s strategic direction and ensures fiscal responsibility.
