West Van’s Nathan Clement Wins First Paralympic Medal

Nathan Clement from West Vancouver won his first-ever Paralympic medal with a second-place finish in the Men’s T1-2 Individual Time Trial at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on September 4, 2024. Clement completed the race in 22:53.36, just 1:17.58 behind the winner, Jianxin Chen of China.

T1 class uses tricycles (the “T”) for athletes with impairments that affect their balance and co-ordination.
