Cycling BC partnered up with Ecole Maple Creek Middle School this week and saw 500 students learn and practice basic cycling skills.
Students were put through different obstacle courses and games to practice their bike handling skills.
For a few students this was their very first time on a bike and with the help from certified coaches and encouragement form fellow classmates they quickly mastered the basis skills.
Cycling BC is working closely with the faculty, parents and school board to increase the availability of these programs for students for years to come.
