Cycling BC partnered up with Ridgeway Elementary in North Vancouver last week and saw 500 students learn and practice basic cycling skills.
The Bike Start program at Ridgeway Elementary was broken down into 3 sessions:
Basic cycling skills and safety
Racing Opportunities: a Cyclo-cross course & bottle relay-race
Team Time Trials and Omnium.
Cycling BC is working closely with the faculty, parents and school board to increase the availability of these programs for students for years to come.
