Cycling BC’s iRide program coached students in Cranbrook, Maple Ridge, Comox, Vancouver nnand provided a special opportunity in Castlegar, BC. Visiting the Kootenay area for the first time with a full fleet of iRide bicycles, iRide coordinator Ben Chaddock spent the week coaching students at Robson Elementary and working with local supporters to plan for the future. The local community was very happy to host the program and local coverage included ShawTV, Castlegar News and Ez Rock radio station. Check out the video below or the newspaper article here.
Richard Wooles ran a three day program at Upper Lynn Elementary, with iRide coach Anna (Banana) Bradford. Over 150 kids joined in the fun, as six grades took part in the program from grades two to five.
