On August 29th, we are hosting a virtual cycling marathon in which we will collectively ride 6000 miles to enhance access to education and support an additional 6000 learners in our partnered communities in Bidibidi refugee settlement in Uganda. Our goal is to fundraise $14,000 to complete the next BrightBox, a solar-powered classroom that provides access to literacy and education resources for remote and refugee learners, helping them to reach their full potential!
We’re hoping to assemble a virtual team of at least 120 riders, and we’d love to invite all of the riders at Cycling BC to road bike, mountain bike, or spin 50 miles with us on August 29th, fundraise, and create a positive impact for Bidibidi’s refugee students.
