To kick off the outdoor season our second BMX development camp saw the team converge at Ridge Meadows BMX for what was a great session! Picking up where they left off at indoor, the team started the day building on their technical skills with plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves on this fast and technical track.
Also, a special treat was in order for the team as Canadian Champion and Olympian Tory Nyhaug was in attendance as assistant coach for the day. “I was super excited that Tory was able to help out today. He is such a big name in the sport, especially in Canada, and being able to learn from him was an amazing opportunity for the team” said Coach Mischa Partridge.
For the second half of the day riders honed in their gate technique with the assistance of video review and one on one advice from the coaches. After a little friendly skills competition, and some scramble races, the team was happy to call it a day.
