The Ontario trip so far has been going pretty well. We arrived Tuesday night and besides a flight delay there has been no hiccups. Wednesday and Thursday we rode the Nationals course at Hardwood hills. The course has had some changes with a few features being added and the start moved. I think the changes are a good addition and will make for some good racing. Thursday night we drove up to Sudbury for the third Canada Cup. The Sudbury course is much different than Hardwood as it is mostly natural features. I am excited to start racing on Sunday and am hoping for a top ten result.  A big thanks to all the sponsors and supporters for helping make all these training and racing opportunities possible for the team.

We arrived on Tuesday night and road the national course in Hardwood Hills the next day. Then on Thursday we arrived at Sudbury for the Canada cup. It is my first Team B.C trip and first time racing out East. It has been awesome I love the tracks and cant wait to race.  I’ve been training hard this year and am hoping to get a spot on the podium at the third Canada Cup.

As a team we all flew into Ontario on Tuesday July 8th.  The next day we went to Hardwood Hills to do an early pre-ride of the Nationals course.  By the end of the night most of us had signed up for the weekly toonie race.  For me that was my first toonie race and I thought that it was a blast.  The next day we came back to do one last early pre-ride of the Nationals course before a long four hours drive to Sudbury.  We arrived in Sudbury Thursday July 10th.  The next day we all decided to pre ride the Canada Cup course for the up and coming Sunday race.   Compared to Hardwood Hills, Sudbury’s course is quite different.  The terrain in Sudbury has tons of sharp rocks, the sun beats down on you a lot more, and there aren’t any really nasty descents or ascents.  Even with they’re differences I think that both courses will be a blast to ride.  Thanks to all the sponsors and people who help make projects like this possible!
