The 2019 BC Cyclocross Championships will take place at the School of Hard Knox Cyclocross Race presented by ChainLine Cycle on November 10, 2019, at Knox Mountain Park, just north of downtown Kelowna, BC. The central location of the mountain makes this race easily accessible for both local residents and those coming from out of town.
Riders will be treated to plenty of twists and turns that run through a semi-wooded area of Knox Mountain and course features include an array of terrain including gravel, grass, forest floor, hardpack dirt, and sand. When you’re not looking down at the ground beneath you, you’ll see stunning views from Knox Mountain Park including the surrounding regional mountains, the city, and Okanagan Lake.
There will be Open Men’s & Women’s categories for those not competing for a provincial title while the provincial championship categories include,
- U13/U15/U17 Men & Women
- Junior (U19) Men & Women
- Elite Men & Women
- 30-39 Masters Men & Women
- 40-49 Masters Men & Women
- 50+ Masters Women
- 50-59 Masters Men
- 60+ Masters Men
- Single-Speed Men & Women

If cyclocross racing at Knox Mountain isn’t enough to satisfy your riding fix, Kelowna offers fantastic cycling trails for the whole family including the Okanagan Rail Trail, Mission Creek Greenway, and Paul’s Tomb trail (at Knox Mountain Park).
