This past Saturday February 13th, in Pearblossom, California, Nigel Ellsay netted a third place in the Pro 1/2 race organized by UCLA. The race course had little to no flat and in 120 km they climbed over 2,500 m in the 20 km circuit.
The race was made even sweeter as Nigel’s teammates Matteo Dal-Cin took the win solo, followed by Benjamin Perry, also solo. In the women’s race, Gillian Ellsay of Trek-Red Truck Racing finished 3rd in the Pro 1/2 women’s field.
A big congratulations to the sibling duo on a successful start to the 2016 race season.
