This is a pilot delivery of the new ST Theory course. As a result, there is no cost to participate; however, numerous pre-requisites apply.
This module is the 4th module in the Comp-Intro pathway and is designed for skills instructors and club coaches working with ages 11+ who are preparing for mass-participation or entry-level competitive events.
The module includes 4x 2-hour evening calls plus pre-requisites and homework. It will be facilitated by the Ontario Cycling Association’s Head of Coach Development, Chantal Thompson, in partnership with Jen Milligan of Cycling Canada. All participants must be ready to fully participate using Adobe Connect.
Please note, effective April 2021, all Cycling BC youth club coaches will be required to have completed the Comp-Intro pathway up to the 5th module, including the material covered in this module. Learn more about the NCCP here.
Registration closes at least 72 hours before the event start.
To complete the above pre-requisites, navigate to our coach reg portal @ cyclingbc.net/coachreg.
If you have questions about how this new module and the pre-requisites correspond with courses you have completed in the past, please contact [email protected].
