2012 Giro de Canada Hosted in the Yukon & Alaska

I would like to introduce to you a brand new race/event for 2012 – Giro de Canada hosted in the Yukon and Alaska!!Its a 4 day Road Bike Stage race starting in Whitehorse and traveling through the tip of BC and into Skagway Alaska, with a ferry ride over to Haines, then riding the spectacular Haines mountain range remote road, heading back into BC and Yukon, finishing back in Whitehorse.

This event covers the most spectacular scenery of the North. It will draw in a mix of elite hard core racers, to recreational riders, to those that are their to just finish it. Days range from 100km – 170km per day. We are encouraging riders to sign up under the teams category to get the most out of this ‘Tour de France’ style race, although riding solo is an option. Its a great way to get your club involved in a unique cycling trip for the summer to a spectacular location you may not have experienced before. We take care of every detail from the moment you land in Whitehorse.
