Cycling BC will be hosting an information session on Tuesday, April 12th for members who are interested in learning more about serving on Cycling BC’s Board of Directors.
The Cycling BC Board of Directors is responsible for helping steer the direction of the organization – working in collaboration with fellow board members and the Cycling BC CEO to ensure the organization stays on course with the strategic plans.
- Do you feel passionate about growing the sport of Cycling in BC and Canada?
- Are you a Cycling BC member with skills and experience in any of the areas identified in our wheel?
- Do you have 4-5 hours per month that you are willing to invest to help Cycling BC continue to develop into a leading Provincial Sport Organization?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, please consider putting your name forward to join the Cycling BC Board of Directors.

To be eligible for nomination as a Cycling BC Director, a person must:
a) commit to attending Board of Director meetings and faithfully serve the needs of the members through active participation in committee work,
b) be 18 years of age or older,
c) be a Member of the Society,
d) have the power under law to contract,
e) not have been declared by any court to be incapable,
f) not have the status of bankrupt.
g) not been convicted of an offence in connection with the promotion, formation, or management of a corporation or an unincorporated entity, or of an offence involving fraud.
